This is great advice - I hope you are getting read to hit the hay by now. It's so important to ensure that you are well rested.

When I used go into my exams, the first thing I'd do was write down anything that I was worried I'd forget: quotations, key words or ideas. Then I'd go and suss out the questions without the fear that all of the important info would vanish!

As Ms Sutherland said, we'll be there to wish you luck in person! Sleep well. :)

    EXTREMELY URGENT
Tuesday 10th May - I need the creative writing pieces for all three of you by CLOSE OF SCHOOL TOMORROW - Wednesday 11th May. If you do not submit your drafts to me or Ms Kirk, we cannot give you the help you need to get these pieces of work completed. Please email them to me a.s.a.p. and preferably TODAY so that we have time to make any amendments necessary.
    Ms L Sutherland (lsutherland1a@gnes.net)
    8th MAY 2011:
Okay, Debbie, Rachel and Robert - we need to see these creative writing pieces coming together in their final format now.
REMINDER - CREATIVE WRITING MUST BE COMPLETED (BOTH PIECES) BY 10TH MAY - THEY ARE HANDED TO THE SQA INVIGILATORS ON THE SAME DAY AS YOUR EXAM, 13TH MAY.
Speak to or email either Ms Kirk or me as soon as possible if you are struggling to meet this deadline.
I have started to put some revision notes on the two novels on the Literature page. I will add to these over the next couple of days as I get time to do so.
Here is a link to a BBC study skills page which gives various revision and study advice, and also has links to other related sites: http://www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/learning/studyskills.shtml

    Last Minute Questions/Help
    Hi Rachel,

No, you're not allowed your texts in the exam - sorry! But, leafing through them will anyway take essential thinking time away from the task in hand.
Write your quotations out and put them on the wall where you can see them tonight before you go to sleep. Try to go to bed at a reasonable time and get a good night's sleep, have a good breakfast and get to school with time to spare so that you can take time to gather your thoughts at school before going into the exam.
We will see you in the Crush Hall before you go in.
Kind regards to all three of you.

    Hi there,

this discussion has been started in order to allow you to have somewhere to ask some questions or raise concerns the night before the exam!

Ms Sutherland and I will both be monitoring the site tonight so if you post a comment or query (not too late - i.e. middle of the night!) then it is likely one of us will be able to get back to you.

I have copied and pasted some of the key notes on both Shakespeare plays, from sparknotes, in order to save you hassle in looking them up.
These should be used purely to refresh your memory and should definitely not be used as the basis of your answer in the examination. I will remind you of what Ms Sutherland previous stated on the Revision Resources page:
To reiterate what Ms Kirk has already warned: do not plagiarise any of the work you see online for any of the texts. You learn nothing from copying someone else's thinking - you only learn when you are doing your own thinking - and the SQA takes a very hard line on plagiarism, ie failing you on the entire course. So, while all of these sites and the books I have lent you for the year do help you to get to grips with the important aspects of the texts, you must rehearse your own ability to analyse and comment upon the texts by planning and writing your own essays.
